The Seattle Seahawks fell to the Chicago Bears 34–17 on Monday night, November 2, in their Week 8 NFL matchup at Lumen Field.
Chicago controlled much of the game, with running back D’Andre Swift scoring three rushing touchdowns to lead the Bears’ offense. Quarterback Caleb Williams also helped guide Chicago to an important road victory.
The Bears' defense played a major role in the win. New addition Jeffery Simmons made an immediate impact, helping Chicago put pressure on Seattle quarterback Sam Darnold and limit the Seahawks' offensive production.
Seattle struggled to maintain consistency throughout the game, particularly in the second half, as Chicago extended its advantage.
The loss moves the Seahawks to 4–4 for the season, while the Bears improve to 6–2. Seattle has now lost three of its last four games.
The Seahawks will look to bounce back next Sunday, November 8, when they host the Arizona Cardinals at Lumen Field. Kickoff is scheduled for 1:25 PM Pacific Time.
