Seattle Police Search for Suspect After Woman Is Stabbed and Carjacked in Ballard

Seattle police are searching for a suspect following a stabbing and reported carjacking in the Ballard neighborhood on Friday morning, October 23, 2026.

According to Seattle police, 911 calls began coming in shortly after 9:15 a.m. about a woman who was reportedly naked and covered in blood near Northwest Market Street and First Avenue Northwest.

Responding officers found the woman with a stab wound to her upper torso. She received medical treatment and was transported to Harborview Medical Center.

Authorities were searching for the suspect and the woman’s stolen vehicle, according to reports published Friday morning. The investigation remains ongoing, and further details had not yet been released.
